billy is a BC benefit company, which means the public good it serves is written into the law that created it. Our mission is to become owned by the people who use billy and the people who build it, with any profit going into a treasury you vote on. billy and parley are tools to bring power back to the people.
billy and parley aren't backed by venture capital or advertisers. They're kept alive by ordinary people. Any amount subscribed or chipped in helps us drive the mission of human empowerment. We think every human deserves time, space and capacity. We hope that seeing behind the veil brings us closer together. We'll do our best to show you accurate information as objectively as we can. We think the economy should grow from the bottom up not trickle down. Bear with us as we navigate this together. Your feedback and skills are welcome.
